Myrin and Audrey Bentz have owned and run Morning Song Acres for the last 15 years.
Myrin and Audrey purchased this lovely property in the 1990′s and had their first retreat in 1998. Small group retreats such as “Kids in the Country” -where urban kids learned care of the earth each day featuring either soil, water, air or animals and people are a great fit at Morning Song. Their other property, Evening Song, a virgin twenty acres that features some of the best wildflower hikes in the Gorge, became a focal point for their “Wildflower Weekends”, and included an evening telescopic experience of the amazing sky. These special theme weekends continue, along with “Oktoberfest”, a weekend which features the making of genuine German “Bratwurst”, pressing apple juice, dancing the polka (or chicken dance!), and lots of German cuisine and drink. The hills around the property also provide great sledding or cross country skiing when the snow falls — a perfect getaway for children.
